Las Vegas, NV- As i reported on my Facebook page last week, the Floyd Mayweather-Shane Mosley fight is on for May 1! That being said, Shane will take the tests that Manny Pacquiao refused to take. And while Mosley has admitted he used illegal performance enhancers under the guidance of BALCO Lab czar Victor Conte, Shane has no problems with the additional testing that goes much further than those of the Nevada State Athletic Commission. At the age of 32, Floyd is 40-0, 25 KOs. Mosley, now 38, has a record of 41-5, 39 KOs.

HAS MANNY BEEN PUNKED IN THE PROCESS?
As for Pacquiao, his not facing Mayweather in March is a serious mistake should Floyd beat Shane. Reason being, he’ll have some rounds under his belt. For Pac to have his best shot at beating Money, he needed to fight him now with Floyd still possessing some ring rust. In shape and firing on all cylinders, styles indicate Floyd would make Pac look silly. Then there is the possibility, albeit remotely, that Joshua Clottey will beat Manny in March. If that occurs, Manny can thank his reluctance to take the EPO tests and his promoter, Massa’ Bob Arum.
